Set by the Thames, Chiswick is a desirable suburb of West London, where the mix of period properties, open green spaces and independent shops, cafes and bars makes it great for families and those who appreciate a more relaxed way of life than the centre of the Capital offers.
Chiswick High Road, which stretches for over 2 miles, is packed full of vibrant places to shop, eat and drink. That’s where you’ll find The Lounge Co.’s flagship store - and a fantastic team (Helen, Paulina and Kieron) who’ll give you a friendly welcome and loads of helpful advice on buying the perfect sofa.
If you’re planning a visit to the store, why not make a day of it? Kieron, a Chiswick local and The Lounge Co. superstar, has recommended his favourite places…
1. Angie’s Little Food Shop
114 Chiswick High Road, London W4 1PU
This characterful, independent cafe is just two doors down from The Lounge Co. They do amazing homemade cakes as well as lighter dishes for the more health conscious among us. ALFS is a light and friendly space where you can hang out with friends and family and enjoy the freshly made fare.

2. Jackson and Rye
217-221 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2DW
A laid back bar and restaurant that brings a flavour of the USA to Chiswick. Start the day with buttermilk pancakes or our recommendation for after hours is the delicious Espresso Martini; so good you probably won’t want to stop at one!
Find out more about Jackson and Rye here.
3. Chiswick House
Chiswick, London W4 2RP
This stunning 18th Century house and gardens is just a 10 minute walk from The Lounge Co. The villa was inspired by the architecture and gardens of ancient Rome, and is jam-packed full of fine antique paintings and furniture. If you’re more of a fan of modern culture, The Beatles filmed promotional videos for 'Paperback Writer' and 'Rain' in the grounds of the house. Venture into the gardens and you’ll find a café, a playground for the kids and some great dog walking routes.

4. The Old Cinema
160 Chiswick High Road, London W4 1PR
As the name suggests, this quirky vintage and retro store can be found inside an old cinema. It’s set over two floors and boasts 10,000 square feet of showrooms; home to a collective of antiques dealers, decorators, designers and jewellers. You’re sure to find something unique for your home.

5. Fullers Brewery
Chiswick Lane South, London W4 2QB
The Fullers Brewery is a recognisable landmark in Chiswick. The imposing brick buildings date back to 1828, and the site is now home to a brewery ‘tasting’ tour and shop. If you need some fresh air after the beer tasting, simply join the river bank on leaving the brewery and enjoy the picturesque walk.

6. Philip Neal Luxury Chocolates
43 Turnham Green Terrace, Chiswick, London W4 1RG
Philip Neal founded his luxury chocolate shop in 1999, and has since been a firm favourite of Chiswick locals looking for unusual gifts or a sweet treat. All the chocolate is handmade using only the purest natural ingredients. We're tempted by customer favourite, Salted Caramel Chocolates.
